May 2018 – Bailey Brooks will be graduating from Texas Tech. She will head to the University of Houston this summer to start her graduate studies.

April 2018 – Our review on synthetic work on the briarane diterpenoids has been accepted in Royal Society Open Science!

March 2018 – Andy’s computational paper on the mechanism of iodine(III)-mediated oxidative dearomatization has been accepted in Organic & Biomolecular Chemistry!

January 2018 – Andy’s book Nonitrogenous Oganocatalysis is finally in print!

November 2017 – Rakesh’s paper is published in Chemical Communications!

November 2017 – Andy was named Associate Editor and Member of the Editoral Board (Chemistry) for Royal Society Open Science.

October/November 2017 – Ting presented a poster and Lu presented a talk at the 2017 ACS Southwest Regional Meeting in Lubbock, TX. Andy served as Chair of the organic program and organized two technical sessions.

Summer 2017 – Garett Garzonie joins the group as a Welch Scholar. Welcome!

May 2017 – Rakesh, Ting, Lu, and George presented posters at the TexSyn III Conference in Dallas, TX.

April 2017 – Rakesh presented a talk at the the ACS National Meeting in San Francisco, CA.

January 2017 – Nick’s paper is published in Organic & Biomolecular Chemistry!

November 2016 – Andy and Rakesh presented work at the 2016 ACS Southwest Regional Meeting in Galveston, TX.
